For my design for this Alan Ayckbourn play, in which three women time travel to save themselves from murder, I had the challenge of depicting a hotel suite that rapidly shifts between 1974, 1994, and 2014. My strategy was to design a room that could span any of the eras, and to use lighting to signal time changes in a hypothetical production of this play.
