Severing the Chains of Fate

I designed this lighting sequence in 2014 to Manabu Namiki and Noriyuki Kamikura's "Severing the Chains of Fate" for the lighting portion of an introductory theatre design course. I transitioned all the lights for this project manually. With this lighting sequence I wanted to amplify the song's sense of alarm, playing the opposites of despair and determination.
